His mom is also fine as hell, and I tried to keep from checking her out being that my friend, his brother, and their Dad was with her. Keep in mind, his mom has been married for 18 years, and his father (Who is a retired weightlifter, and current high school weightlifting coach) was also there with her. Now our strange relationship started when I saw his mom for the first time a few months ago. I am literally holding back tears right now as I'm typing this. I never even seen pictures of her because his family didn't really take pictures that much.
See what happened was, I would go by my friends house to play basketball all the time, and I had never seen his mom before even though I had known him for 6 years, because of her job traveling. I have GOT to let this out somewhere because I need serious help!
Other places would be more of a diversion into the hills and mountains.I've been holding this back for months, and just I can't take it anymore. Sete has some great boat jousting if you get the chance to see it. Closer to Montpellier, Pezenas is a pretty town with strong links to Moliere. Narbonne, Beziers and Perpignan all have interest.
OK for beaches (and flamingos and oysters) but not so much visible history. In France, much of the coastal area between Perpignan and Beziers is the result of 1960s efforts to use tourism to regenerate the area. The towns are either side of the border, and you can walk between them or still catch a train linking their two huge semi-disused railway stations. As a result it is the site of the exodus of Spanish to France at the end of the Spanish Civil War, and a key escape route from France to Spain during WWII. It's not necessarily pretty or touristy, but it's the old train route from France to Spain. To these classic options, I'd add Port Bou/Cerbere on the coastal road to France for the history. One of Tossa de Mar (walled old town by the sea), Begur - houses from Catalans made rich in Cuba.
